Pune : MIM Lok Sabha candidate Anis Sundke has introduced that a memorial to Tipu Sultan might be built in Pune.
Reacting to this, BJP City Unit President Dheeraj Ghate stated, “We is not going to allow the memorial to be created on Pune’s land less than any situations. We are going to lodge a law enforcement criticism With this regard.”
He was addressing a press satisfy in the town on Sunday. BJP Election administration Committee Coordinator Shrinath Bhimale, Patit Pavan Sanghatana’s Swapnil Naik, Datta Khade, Maha Yuti Coordinator Sandeep Khardekar, Joint Publicity Chief Pushkar Tuljapukar and Other people have been existing.
Ghate claimed, “The BJP strongly opposes the proposed memorial to Tipu Sultan. He tortured the Hindus. Sundke is attempting to drive a wedge between two communities by increasing the memorial problem through the elections. a lot of people attempted to celebrate the birth anniversary of Tipu Sultan. The BJP vehemently opposed it. We received’t allow for this to happen at any Expense.”
Ghate website said, “Pune is known as a cultural centre. a lot of historic personalities had been associated with it. Tipu Sultan was not an awesome chief. He killed 1000s of Hindu Guys and ladies. Hindutva outfits will never enable the memorial to return up. We will strategy the law enforcement. it's an attempt to polarise votes. The BJP strongly condemns this.”
